Ingredients:

  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 can peeled tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cloves of garlic (chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 tablespoon cheese
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • salt

Instructions:

Saute onion in oil. Add ground round and brown. Add peeled tomatoes, mash and cook down. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, garlic, basil, oregano, bay leaf, cheese and sugar. Add salt to taste. Bring to boil, turn down and simmer for approximately 2 hours.
