Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup soft butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 7-ounce chocolate mint candy wafer

Instructions:

Cream butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and salt. Stir in flour. Chill for an hour. Shape into 1-inch balls

Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Pressed chocolate mint candy wafer in the center of each cookie.

Bake in hot oven (400 degrees F) for 8-10 minutes. Remove from pan. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
