The other day we spent some time playing up at Boon Elementary in Allen, Texas flying the DJI Phantom drone. I thought it would be cool to capture some images and make a short video. Kids don’t usually get to see their school from that perspective. I remember when I was a kid — the school seemed massive. It’s hard to get the big picture when you are built so close to the ground.
Hope you enjoy the video. Comments welcome.

Awesome Mark!
Boy….. If I would have tried that when I lived in Kingwood, HPD would have sent a SWAT team to the school!! LOLOL
Very cool!!
There is no telling what technology like this would have cost 30 or 40 years ago. I can’t even imagine having a toy like this as a child.
Mark, now that I’ve watched your video, I have to have one of those toys! You’re going to have to stop teasing me with that thing. I really loved the way you made the little leaves fly up around your drown. That was brilliant.
I still have my Texas adjusters license. Man, I could’ve saved lots of wear and tear on my knees using a drone to inspect tall, steep roofs.
